HLTH
Launching HLTH Europe
How Our Animation Film Company Helped HLTH Europe Travel Across the Continent
Where innovation meets impact
A new player on the European conference scene, HLTH is no stranger to shaking things up. Already a heavyweight event in the US, they’re now heading across the pond to unite the brightest minds in healthcare — with talks, workshops, and a mission to transform the industry.
So when HLTH needed an animation film company to bring their brand to life for a European audience, they turned to Meantime Studio.
Our first collaboration began with a bang; the HLTH Europe launch video. A vibrant, fast-paced introduction to the brand’s bold personality and ambitions for Europe. The reaction? In a word, brilliant. That project set the tone, and established Meantime as a trusted creative partner who understood HLTH’s identity and knew how to tell their story visually.
The Brief: Take HLTH on Tour
Following that success, HLTH returned to us with their next brief: promote their European Roadshow, a whistle-stop tour of key cities building momentum for the main event later in the year. The ask? Create something fun, on-brand, energetic — and unmistakably HLTH.
The brief was deliciously loose. We had a clear goal — generate buzz and build excitement — but how we got there was up to us. Whether it was an arrow, a dart, or a flaming throwing axe, we just had to hit the target.
As an animation film company, we don’t jump into design without direction. So we explored a range of ideas: reimagining iconic movies from each city, a surreal “Fear and Loathing”-style road trip, and more. But the idea that stuck? A classic rite of passage, a youthful, vibrant backpacking trip across Europe. Think hostel stickers, train tickets, and wide-eyed wonder. It gave us a clear visual language, tied directly into real-world landmarks, and felt in step with HLTH’s bold, fresh vibe.

We brought the roadshow to life in a one-minute animated film, jam-packed with mixed media textures, nods to local culture, and HLTH’s signature colour palette. The look was playful but slick — designed to grab attention on social media and adapt easily into shorter clips, stills, and campaign cutdowns.
Our process combined live action elements, collage, and 2D animation — allowing for fast cutting, characterful transitions, and memorable visuals. We made every frame count.
The final film gave HLTH a modular campaign asset that could be repurposed across markets, platforms, and formats — helping their team introduce the brand, promote events, and tease what’s to come.
It also reminded us why we love what we do. At Meantime Studio, we’re more than an animation film company. We’re strategic storytellers, creative problem-solvers, and partners who bring brands to life in bold, meaningful ways.
