Bringing Car Cleaning into the Future

Do you drive a car? Too lazy to clean it yourself? Living in a cashless society? Then this project is right up your street. GoWash was born from frustration—the endless scrabble for loose change in the glove compartment. To help launch their startup and increase app visibility, GoWash needed a standout animation. They turned to us, a Norwich animation agency, to bring their vision to life.

The challenge? There’s a sea of motion graphics and explainer videos out there, and GoWash wanted something different. They needed to stand out. Thankfully, they trusted us to take the creative lead, and our Queen of Colour, Brogan, got to work.

Brogan’s talent lies in bold colour choices and expert use of textures. With the creative freedom GoWash provided, this project became her playground. She explored new techniques, illustration styles, and fresh colour palettes. As a Norwich animation agency, we always aim to provide the best value for money. Motion graphics is a cost-effective form of animation, but without creativity, these videos can fade into obscurity. That’s never the case at Meantime.

For GoWash, we developed a bold colour palette using the greens, blues, and oranges of their brand. We combined simple yet striking illustrations with deep graphic and editorial influences. Most importantly, we gave the animation a sense of style—it had to look cool. With those fundamentals in place, Brogan, supported by our MD and sound designer Luke, created a slick and polished animation. It met all the client’s expectations—and, we like to think, exceeded them.

This project was a joy to work on, thanks to Jonny’s unwavering trust in our creativity. He let us run wild, and the result was something he may not have expected—but absolutely loved.
