Touring with Gabby’s Dollhouse: Bringing DreamWorks’ Magical World to Life
The Challenge
We were brought on by creative agency The Park to help deliver a high-energy, family-first social media campaign for DreamWorks’ hit show Gabby’s Dollhouse. Supporting a major touring activation across the UK and France, our brief was to bring Gabby’s world to life through a suite of bright, engaging video and image content—crafted specifically for digital audiences.
At the heart of the campaign was the Gabby’s Dollhouse bus—a colourful, fully branded experience travelling to multiple cities across both countries. Each stop welcomed young fans into a series of themed environments inspired by the show, from Cakey’s Kitchen and DJ Catnip’s Music Bus to the ocean-themed SS Mercat and a magical hot air balloon finale with Gabby and Fairy Kitty.

Our Role: Capturing the Adventure
Working closely with The Park and DreamWorks, we were responsible for creating a full range of visual assets to power the social media campaign, building awareness, excitement, and ongoing engagement throughout the tour. Our deliverables included:
A suite of stills, documenting both the immersive environments and the spontaneous emotional moments that brought the experience to life.
A series of animated teaser videos, with unique edits for each tour stop—designed using a creative template to ensure consistency, quick turnarounds, and smooth approvals.
Short-form highlight edits for both the UK and French legs of the tour, blending captured footage with animated elements to tell the story of the launch weekends.
A hero video, showcasing the overall activation experience, complete with travel visuals, landmark locations, and moments of joy shared by families across the route.
Built for Social
Every asset was designed with digital platforms in mind—whether for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Facebook. Portrait formats, bold colour, playful animation, and snappy pacing were key to ensuring our content stood out in feed and reflected the energy of the brand.
Animation played a central role in elevating the overall look and feel of the social media campaign, bringing in elements from the show and guiding viewers through each edit with charm and clarity.

Seamless Collaboration
Our collaboration with The Park was key to the success of this project. Their creative direction, deep understanding of the brand, and clear communication made for an efficient and enjoyable production process. Together, we aligned on a shared vision—balancing speed, scale and story to deliver content that felt polished, on-brand, and made for sharing.
A Campaign That Travelled
The Gabby’s Dollhouse activation was a joyful, high-impact experience—and the content we created helped extend that magic far beyond the event sites. With widespread engagement across DreamWorks’ channels, the campaign proved to be a powerful blend of live experience and online storytelling.
We’re proud to have helped turn this activation into a standout social media campaign, and to have played a part in bringing Gabby’s colourful world to families across the UK and France.
